I have been thinking of cleaning a few houses to provide income for upcoming activities and possible needs, like a new vehicle. I want to develop a base of customers I can provide quality service for while maintaining my personal integrity, and providing for my family's activities and needs. This means being able to utilize green products, and work within a small time frame each week.
Green Cleaning Recipes
Time Frame 8am-1pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday, All day Saturday and Sunday
Pricing $100 each cleaning with a %10 discount to customers referring another customer limit 2 referrals
Operations
Cleaning can be done weekly, biweekly, or monthly, each cleaning session should not extend to more than 3.5 hours
Initial Cleaning May take up to 6 hours and includes, straightening and tidying, cleaning all hard surfaces, dusting blinds and knick knacks, vacuuming flooring, ceiling fans, and air vents, washing non carpeted flooring, change bed linens if fresh linens are left on the beds, load/unload dishwasher, includes every room of the house
All subsequent cleaning sessions include all of the above except washing floors, vacuuming ceiling fans, and air vents, these services are included once every two months
Expenses to consider
Durable khaki slacks and collared shirts
No car markings, I do not really want to advertise, I would rather operate as a word of mouth
Overhead (Fuel and a new vehicle)
Portable vacuum cleaner
Insurance and bonding
Taxes
